APMI West Penn Chapter holds February Meeting

The West Penn Chapter of the APMI International held their monthly meeting at Dubois Country Club, attended by 90 industry professionals and sponsored ECM USA.

Our speaker for the evening, Vincent Lelong, presented the topic “Large Scale Production Equipment for Heat Treating on PM Parts, Improvement and Innovation on high pressure gas quenching applications”. Vincent’s presentation evaluated the latest applications on sintering, dewaxing and hardening and the possibility of using vacuum furnaces and  high pressure gas quenching as well as LPC with a review of the specific challenges associated with PM parts in these processes.
